From Food Truck to North Park Favorite
Born and raised in San Diego, our journey began in 2018 with Rhythm’s Chicken & Waffles—a food truck that quickly grew into a brick-and-mortar in Pacific Beach. By 2019, the concept had taken off, earning us a feature on Netflix’s Fresh, Fried and Crispy in 2021. Though our first location closed in 2023, every step taught us resilience and the value of community.
Inspired by family and rooted in Southern tradition, Mom’s Chicken & Waffles was reborn in North Park inside U31 Bar. Revamped by the heart of our family—Mom herself—the brand carries forward the flavors, warmth, and spirit that started it all.
